Sustainable Architecture.
When it comes to leaving the world a little cleaner, healthier and more plentiful than how we find it, Varifold believes that we need to manage all our assets with a view toward the future. The result of this thinking is a business model that emphasizes people as much as environmental performance - otherwise known as the triple bottom line.
Varifold's products are fundamentally friendly to the environment. Many of our products can be reused and relocated to different areas over time.
Clients can reuse their VARIFOLD® modular walls, demountable walls, and portable partitions when they transfer to a new building or location. After all, our products were engineered for these purposes. Utilizing tradional, high-quality raw materials, such as woods and natural fabrics, VARIFOLD® products are naturally GREEN at their core, quite literally.
VARIFOLD®'s products qualify for a multitude of LEED "New Construction & Major Renovation" Credits.
The fact that you can define a space in multiple configurations with VARIFOLD®'s products means you can create spaces that take advantage of natural sunlight at any time of day (LEED Environmental Quality (EQ) Credit 8.1 & 8.2). When renovating a building, the singular addition of one of our operable partitions can change the look and feel of a space entirely, allowing the architects to reuse a percentage of the existing walls, floors, and roof (LEED Materials & Resources (MR) Credit 1.1, 1.2, 1.3). These are just a few examples of how VARIFOLD®'s products can be applied to LEED Green Building Design.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is the executive department of the Philippine government responsible for governing and supervising the exploration, development, utilization, and conservation of the country's natural resources.
VARIFOLD is proud to have a full-time, accredited pollution and recycling officer at its manufacturing facility. VARIFOLD complies fully with all DENR prerequisites and mandates.
